Thiers Issard Straight Razor - Faux Tortoise Handle (6/8"W). Shaving with a straight edge razor gives you the closest, cleanest shave possible, and with an lead hardening process, the blade will stay sharper longer and will last a lifetime, something disposable razors cannot do. Lead hardening process - considered the best method for strengthening carbon steel - dates back 100's of years. After being hand forged, each blade is plunged into boiling lead, then quenched in water and hand sharpened to a true razor edge. Blades stay sharp longer and will last a lifetime. Made the same way since 1884 in France. 6/8"W blade (recommended for extra heavy beards). Handle 5-1/2"L. Note: Blades will turn to a brown color with use.
