In accordance with proven traditional methods of production, all Art Spectrum Watercolours are carefully stone milled to enhance the brilliance of each individually selected pigment and to maximize its handling qualities. Art Spectrum Watercolours have the distinct advantage of being composed of only lightfast pigments- for instance, Alizarni Crimson is not offered in this range because it is known to be fugitive; this color is replaced by Permanent Crimson, using lightfast pigments. Several of these beautiful colors are unique to the Australian landscape, such as Pilbara Red, Australian Red Gold and Tasman Blue. Art Spectrum Watercolours have a very high pigment content and give strong tints and clean mixes. This, combined with the larger-than-standard 10ml tubes provides the artist with outstanding quality and value.
